Dear members, beste leden, 

Time flies and in little over a week it is already time for the Lulofs fall lustrum symposium, which will take place in person at the Amsterdam Science Park! On Thursday October 27th, 2022, we will meet at 15:00 for an update about the BSc and MSc programme, and a presentation by Kenneth Rijsdijk about his book Heg, followed by drinks to catch up with your fellow alumni and current UvA staff and students. The lecture hall will be announced this week. 

We have the following speakers lined up for you:

• Emiel van Loon (programme director) will give an update on the BSc Future Planet Studies

• Carina Hoorn (programme director) will give an update on the MSc Earth Sciences

• Kenneth Rijsdijk (assistant professor) will talk about hedges and their role in the (cultural) landscape, based on his recent book: Heg

How to reach Science Park

Science Park is easy to reach via public transport (bus 40 from Amstel and Muiderpoort station or via the Science Park train station). There are parking facilities as well, but these are limited. You can find more information about reaching Science park here.
